Resetting your password
To reset your password:
- Go to the Login page in the app or on the web.
- Select Continue with email.
- Enter your email address.
- Tap 'Forgot password' and follow the email instructions.
If the reset link doesn’t work:
- Wait 15 minutes, request a new link, and
- Try opening it in a different browser or device.
If you signed up with Apple ID, Facebook, or Google, your password is managed by that provider. Change it in your Apple/Facebook/Google account settings or contact their support.
I didn’t receive the reset email
Run through this quick checklist:
- Spam / junk / filters
- Check Spam, Junk, and any filtered folders (e.g. Promotions/Updates).
- Search for “Drops” or “password reset”.
- Correct email
- Make sure you used the same email as when you created your Drops account.
- Watch out for typos or using a different address (work, school, old email).
- Apple / Google / Facebook sign‑up
- If you originally chose “Continue with Apple / Google / Facebook” when you created your Drops account, you won’t have a separate Drops password.
- Use the same login method again, and change your password in that provider account if needed.
- Apple “Hide My Email”
- If you used Apple “Hide My Email”, your Drops account is under a random Apple relay email (like xxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com), not your normal email.
- On the login screen, tap “Continue with Apple” and sign in with the same Apple ID you used originally.
