This article explains what your streak is, how it works, why you might lose it, and what to send us if you think it was lost unfairly.
1. What is your streak?
Your streak is the number of days in a row you complete a full learning session in Drops.
A day counts when:
- You finish at least one full session at your preferred session length.
- You are logged into your Drops account.
- You have a working internet connection so the session can sync.
Streaks follow your device’s local date & time, so big timezone jumps or manual clock changes can affect them.
2. How streaks & Streak Rescue work
- Each qualifying day → streak +1.
- If you miss days, your streak may reset — unless Streak Rescue saves it.
Streak Rescue:
- Free: 1 Rescue → missing more than 1 day in a row breaks your streak.
- Premium: you can earn and hold up to 4 Rescues, which can cover a few missed days.
Rescues are automatic: if you miss a day and still have a Rescue, it’s used to keep your streak.
Your streak resets if you:
- Miss more days than your Rescues, or
- Don’t get any valid, synced session for several days (e.g., always offline).
3. Why your streak may have dropped
Most cases come from:
- Offline / weak internet – your session didn’t sync, so the day didn’t count.
- Timezone / clock changes – travel or manual time changes made it look like you skipped extra days.
- New device / different login – you signed in with a different email or login method, so you see a new streak while the old one is on another account.
4. Think your streak was lost unfairly?
If your streak dropped due to an outage, login, or time issue, we can review your account and restore your streak if needed, for this, contact us and share the following details with us:
- Your Drops email
- As shown under Profile > Settings > Account.
- Streak details
- What your streak shows now.
- What your streak should be today (your best estimate).
- One screenshot (if possible)
- Your streak calendar.
- If your streak rescues have been used incorrectly, please contact us.
How to contact us
In the app:
- Go to Profile > Settings > Help.
- Use the widget or tap “Submit a request”.
We’ll check your account and manually set your streak to the correct value if we confirm it was lost unfairly.
